Charlecote Park

Join us for an excursion to the delightful Charlecote Park in its attractive setting on the banks of the River Avon. Home to the Lucy family for more than 700 years, Charlecote Park is steeped in history and is well worth exploring. The rich interior of the house sums up the grandeur of Tudor life and has important associations with Queen Elizabeth I, who stayed in the room that is now the drawing room.

You will also have time to explore the beautiful gardens, that were landscaped by 'Capability' Brown, and the deer park where Shakespeare is rumoured to have been caught poaching deer.

When you have finished your explorations of the house and gardens, head to The Orangery and relax with a drink, or visit the shop where you can pick up a souvenir of your visit.
