Siena & San Gimignano

This excursion will take you first to Siena where you will enjoy a short walking tour through the twisting, stone streets. Once a major Gothic city of Europe, Siena is one of the most unspoilt cities in Italy with highlights including the splendid main square, Piazza del Campo, and the impressive 14th century cathedral. The city also hides dozens of gothic palaces, pastry shops and an extensive choice of restaurants and bars. In the afternoon, this excursion also includes a visit to medieval San Gimignano - the ‘city of the beautiful towers’ - a town that would look at home in the stories of Tolkien.
