The second largest of the Isles of Scilly, Tresco is only two miles long, but has an amazing variety of scenery. Home to the Tresco Abbey Gardens, one of the world’s most fascinating botanical experiments, cars are prohibited, and the tranquil way of life and old-fashioned courtesy are enjoyed by both islanders and visitors alike.

St Mary's is the largest of the five inhabited islands, yet it is only two miles long and one mile wide. Home to safe beaches, unique shopping opportunities and delightful nature trails, there will be photo stops en route and a chance to see some of the main places of interest and admire some of the most spectacular views.

The city of Le Havre is a delight to visit, with a sandy beach stretching across the shore, and plenty of churches and museums to explore. Spend the day in Le Havre, or take advantage of our optional excursion to Monet’s Water Garden. Experience the world that Monet brought to life, see the house where he lived, his studio, the Japanese Bridge and the plants that he loved.
With sub-tropical sandy beaches in the south and wild, rugged heathland to the north, it’s sometimes hard to remember Tresco is a wholly British island. The gentle Gulf Stream gives the island a mild, frost-free climate and exotic flowers and plants from all over the world flourish in this tiny corner of England, ranging from fuchsias to palm trees.
Once a waterlogged, china clay pit, the Eden Project is now home to the largest conservatories in the world and we include entrance to this fascinating attraction. These futuristic creations are home to a myriad of plants and environments, enabling you to travel the world in one day. From the steamy forests of Amazonia, to the paddy fields of Asia, this magnificent living theatre reveals plants as you’ve never seen them before.
