To mark the first day of the international rugby tournament, Travelscope’s Reservations staff kitted out their office with colourful flags, a huge themed cake, doughnuts, biscuits, rugby balls and a special display of Rugby World Cup Tickets. Staff also got dressed up in cheeky rugby-themed T-shirts.
The morning’s event included a surprise guest appearance from local Gloucester rugby team, Gordon League, who turned up at the Travelscope offices dressed in their full rugby kit.
The day was a lot of fun for everyone involved, particularly after months of preparation and hard work for one of the largest sporting occasions in the world. The launch was planned as a big surprise for Travelscope’s Managing Director, Richard Ford.
An official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup 2007, Travelscope will be carrying over 17,500 rugby fanatics and 2,600 school children to the major sporting event in France.
