Alsace and the Black Forest are home to some of the most picturesque villages in Europe. On this five-day tour, you’ll be able to experience the beauty and character of these villages, such as Obernai and Molsheim.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - 1 Flight from UK to Basel/Karlsruhe. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a four-night stay.

Day 2 - This morning, visit picturesque Obernai, with its beautiful half-timbered buildings, decorated with flowers. Later, we offer a wonderful wine tasting at Dambach-la-Ville

Day 3 - After breakfast, enjoy our optional Baden Baden excursion in the Black Forest.

Day 4 - You have today at leisure. Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Colmar and Freiburg.

Day 5 - After breakfast, you have free time to explore Molsheim. This afternoon, time permitting, spend time in Strasbourg before transferring to the airport for the flight back to the UK.

Optional Excursions

Wine tasting at Dambach-la-Ville
Price - £38 £16
Dambach-la-Ville is a typical Alsatian village, with a charm all of its own. A warm welcome awaits us at the cellars of the family Rühlmann. After a tour, board a train for a unique trip through vineyards, with spectacular views over the Rhine and the Vosges Mountains.

Baden Baden
Price - £18
No trip to the Black Forest would be complete without a visit to imperial Baden Baden. The beautiful Kurhaus with its elegant Corinthian columns provide an incredible focal point, and the old market square reveals the town hall and the steps to climb to the Neues Schloss.

Colmar & Freiburg
Price - £20
Arrive in Colmar, where you can stroll along canals with half-timbered houses lining the route to little Venice. Continue to Freiburg, capital of the Black Forest. The sunshine here ensures there are more vineyards around Freiburg than any other German city.
