DAY ONE
Your holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and the journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 10.30am Ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. We also offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer this option.
Upon arrival in Calais, we will continue to your hotel in the Ile de France area. This evening we include a transfer into Paris for you to soak up the atmosphere of this romantic city by night. Join our optional evening cruise along the River Seine for a great way to see the major sights illuminated in all their splendour.
DAY TWO
After a continental breakfast, we will depart the hotel and transfer to the Porte de Clignancourt flea market, where you will spend the morning. You'll have plenty of time to hunt for bargains and hidden treasures before being taken into the centre of Paris to Village St Paul, situated near Notre Dame. This area is noted for the antique shops located around the narrow streets, as well as several cosy restaurants that are ideal for lunch.
If you fancy doing some sightseeing instead, many well-known attractions are within walking distance, including the magnificent cathedral of Notre Dame and the beautiful Place des Vosges.
After a busy day shopping and sightseeing we will join the transfer back to the hotel. Later this evening why not join us on our optional ‘Paris By Night’ tour. We'll take you into Paris for a memorable tour of the major sights, including a visit to the Montparnasse Tower. A lift will whisk you speedily to the 56th floor for a spectacular panoramic view of Paris by night. The excursion ends with a visit to the Latin Quarter where you will have time to explore and perhaps dine in one of the cosy bistros or restaurants before returning to the hotel.
DAY THREE
Following breakfast we will begin our journey home, making an en route stop at the Porte de Vanves street market for some last-minute shopping. We will then leave Paris and journey to Calais for the 5.45pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival, we will return you to your original departure point.
