  All hotels used in the US are of a minimum 3: European standard and are well located for the touring itinerary. All hotels have a restaurant or bar on site or very close by. All rooms have bathroom, air conditioning, telephone and TV.
  
  
• Christchurch, Scenic Circle Cotswold Hotel (nights 9 & 10)
  The distinctive traditional Tudor-style architecture of the Scenic Circle Cotswold Hotel reflects Christchurch’s image as the most English of cities outside of England. Enjoy the hotel’s spacious grounds and courtyard including award-winning gardens. • Queenstown, Scenic Circle A-Line Hotel (nights 11–13)

• Lake Rotorua, Sudima Hotel (nights 14–15)
  The Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua is the largest hotel in the area and enjoys a great location, set on the shores of beautiful Lake Rotorua, All rooms have bathroom, hairdryer, minibar, cable TV, wireless broadband Internet and in-house mouse.
  
  
• Auckland, Mercure Hotel (night 16)
  This hotel features a restaurant, bar, a gym and valet parking. All rooms have bathroom, minibar, cable TV and broadband Internet access.
  
  
• Shanghai Argyle Ryden Hotel or similar (night 18)
  This brand new hotel opened in 2006 and is located 20 minutes’ drive from the Bund. All 300 rooms and suites have bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, phone, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and minibar. The Aromacafez is the main restaurant and the hotel also has a coffee bar.
  
  
• Beijing Tian Tan or similar (nights 19–20)
  Located just a 10-minute drive from Tiananmen Square. All rooms have bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite/cable TV, telephone, minibar/fridge, telephone and Internet access. Facilities include restaurant, coffee shop, cocktail bar, gym and sauna.
  
  
• Hong Kong (nights 21–23)
  Accommodation will either be in the Charterhouse or Newton Hotel.
  
  
• 3* Charterhouse Hotel
  Located in the main business and shopping district of Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. Facilities include The Gazebo restaurant, Champs Bar, Nightingale Karaoke or Harry’s Bar and a gym. All rooms have bathroom, air conditioning, safe, satellite/cable TV, hairdryer, radio, phone and tea and coffee maker.
  
• 3* Newton Hotel
  Located within easy reach of the shopping Mecca of Causeway Bay and the entertainment area of Wan Chai. Facilities include two restaurants, cocktail lounge, rooftop swimming pool, sauna and gym. All rooms have bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar and safe.
