Closer to Asia than Sydney, Darwin is situated on one of Australia’s prettiest harbours, opening out onto the brilliant, jewel-like waters of the Arafura Sea. Much of the city’s activity is based around the harbour with superb dining, friendly cafes and a selection of water sports available.

Darwin is also home to an extensive array of parks and gardens, such as the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, East Point Reserve and the Charles Darwin National Park. With a vibrant art scene, this city holds many festivals and events, including the Darwin Fringe Festival, and a range of galleries specialising in Aboriginal art.

Cairns, Australia*

This beautiful city is located in Queenslands tropical north coast, framed by the Great Barrier Reef, and you will have the opportunity to visit this magnificent natural treasure, teeming with colourful coral reefs and tropical marine life. During your time in the city, be sure to stroll the Cairns Esplanade, landscaped parkland with a busy restaurant strip on one side and a natural harbour inlet on the other. Cairns offers a wonderful variety of adventures and experiences,: from scuba diving and kite surfing to joining a trail in Daintree Rainforest or seeing the local wildlife in the Australian Tropical Zoo, there really is something for everyone.

Nouma, New Caledonia

Capital of the French colony of New Caledonia in the South Pacific, Nouma is known as the St. Tropez of the Pacific. Situated on the south eastern tip of the island of Grand Terre, it overlooks one of the worlds largest sheltered natural harbours. Attractions here include the Place des Cocotiers, with its monumental fountain, and the Botanical Gardens and Zoo.

Suva, Fiji

Sun-kissed, unique and unspoiled, the Fiji Islands offer 1,000 miles of beautiful white sand beaches, beautiful coral gardens and turquoise lagoons. Fijis capital city, Suva, is one of the South Pacifics largest and most sophisticated cities, with many post-colonial buildings and the Fiji Museum, located in the Thurston Gardens. Suva is also home to Fijis largest building, Suva Central, and the famous Suva City Library, built in 1909, is well worth a visit.

Special Note

3rd and 4th persons occupying a cabin
In addition to our designated three and four berth cabins, we have arranged for the third and fourth berths in higher grade cabins to be sold for an incredible price. If you book a twin bed outside cabin of Grade 6 or above, a third person can occupy your cabin for a great-value price(upper-berth). In a Grade 5 cabin and above, a third and a fourth person can join for the entire duration of the cruise for an excellent price! (Please note that this does not apply to Grade 4 cabins.)

Please note:

  • Inside cabins rely on artificial light
  • Outside cabins have a porthole (deck 4), window (deck 5 and above)
  • The term berth refers to an upper and lower bunk style bed
  • The upper berth is accessed via a small ladder
  • Two bedded cabins have two lower beds
  • Some two bedded cabins have additional fold-away upper berths which are not used when the cabin is occupied by two passengers
  • Third and fourth passengers sharing cabins are always accommodated in upper berths
  • All cabins are non-smoking
