Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Flight to south west France. Transfer to your hotel in the Biarritz area for five nights.

Day 2 - Included visit to the sunny beach resort, chic shopping mecca and sleepy fishing village of St-Jean-de-Luz, and the Pays Basque capital Bayonne, where you can watch the national game of pelote, or explore the narrow streets, quays, ramparts and shopping areas around the old quarter surrounding Cathedral St Marie.

Day 3 - Why not join our optional excursion to San Sebastián and Pamplona.

Day 4 - Optional Côte d’Argent excursion.

Day 5 - Optional Regal Pau excursion.

Day 6 - Transfer to airport for return flight to the UK.

In the elegant Basque seaside resort of San Sebastián, Spain, sample the tapas bars in the old quarter and marvel at the Mirimar Palace, before continuing to Pamplona, beloved by Hemingway and famous for the running of the bulls.

La Côte d’Argent

To the ‘silver coast’ with its beautiful sandy beaches and pretty seaside towns. We visit graceful Hossegor, skirted by a shimmering salt water lake and surrounded by emeraldgreen forest, continuing to Dax whose hot springs combine with the mud of the Adour to treat every conceivable ailment.

Regal Pau

In the lively and elegant belle époque town of Pau we visit Château de Pau, a glorious turreted castle containing many priceless Gobelin tapestries, and a garden once tended by Marie Antoinette. Stroll along the Boulevard des Pyrénées for stunning views over the gardens and the typically snowcapped Pyrénéan peaks.
