This will be followed by the chance to sample the region’s finest wines with an included wine tasting.

DAY TWO, CHRISTMAS EVE After a leisurely breakfast, join our included excursion to Koblenz, famous for being the town at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers and having narrow streets, historic squares, cosy wine taverns and ancient monuments. You’ll then continue up the Moselle Valley for an included visit to the delightful town of Cochem, its atmospheric old quarter, home to cosy wineries and souvenir shops, is watched over by a fairy tale castle complete with turrets and ramparts, similar to the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World. This evening you will enjoy your included four-course dinner.

DAY THREE, CHRISTMAS DAY A great day lies ahead. After breakfast you are at leisure to relax in the hotel, or perhaps explore the local area, before returning to the hotel in the late morning for an included light buffet lunch. DAY FOUR, BOXING DAY Join our optional full day excursion, taking you past the world-renowned Lorelei Rock, delightful wine villages and majestic hill-top castle ruins through the most scenic sections of the Rhine Gorge to Rüdesheim, perhaps one of the most famous of all the Rhine wine villages. At Rüdesheim you’ll have the opportunity to visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musik Kabinett (entrance included) where you can see his world-famous collection of mechanical musical instruments, and enjoy free time to explore this riverside wine village. We will return to the hotel for a three-course dinner, followed by an included evening party cruise.
