 4* discover Amsterdam at Easter time itineraryDay one Your Amsterdam Easter weekend break starts with selected coach pick-ups and transfer to Dover/Folkstone for your 9.30am ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. In order to offer a full itinerary your pick up times may be very early in the morning or the previous evening; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions. Alternatively, we offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. Upon arrival, journey to your 4* hotel and enjoy an evening free to explore your surroundings. Day two After a hearty continental breakfast, join the coach for the transfer into Amsterdam for a full day at leisure. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere, sample the fantastic local cuisine and explore the many architectural delights in this cosmopolitan city. Alternatively, you may like to join our dazzling Dutch capital optional excursion, which will take you to see the famous sights of Amsterdam, and even includes a trip to a diamond factory. Later this evening, you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal at the romantic Sea Palace; tuck in to a variety of Chinese and Indonesian dishes before joining the coach and heading back to your hotel. Day three Following breakfast at your hotel, join the transfer into Amsterdam for more free time to explore this wonderful city. Snap up some Easter gifts for friends and family back home, or perhaps you’d like to join our optional Dutch delights excursion, and experience a taste of traditional Holland at this great time of year. On arrival back in Amsterdam this evening, join an optional evening sparkling city cruise before transferring back to your hotel. Day four Today, after your continental breakfast, we depart our hotel and begin our return journey homewards. Our holiday isn’t over quite yet though; enjoy an en route stop in Ypres, with free time to explore this wonderful town. Later this afternoon, rejoin the coach and head to Calais for a hypermarket/wine warehouse (time permitting) for the chance to stock up on continental goodies before your 5.45pm crossing back to the UK. Upon arrival, transfer to your original pick-up point, fully revitalised and refreshed after your wonderful Easter weekend.
