![]() Easter in Austria itineraryDay 1 Your holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups*, and a journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 9.00am ferry/Eurotunnel Channel crossing to Calais. We also offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. On arrival, our coach continues through Germany and to the Rhineland area where we have arranged overnight accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis. Day 2 After breakfast we continue across the border into Austria and to your hotel for a four-night stay. Days 3, 4 & 5 Time at leisure, or to make the most of your time in Austria, take advantage of our enchanting optional excursion programme. Join us in exploring the beautiful Salzkammergut area, Austria's World Heritage lake district, complete with mountain majesty and great glittering bodies of water. There's also the chance to see the spectacular Tyrolean region and its capital, Innsbruck, a glorious city lying at the meeting place of the Inn Valley and the Sill Gorge. Additionally, Salzburg, famous as being Mozart’s birthplace and a setting for The Sound of Music, should not be missed; its pretty onion-domed churches adding an extra infusion of old-world charm. Don’t forget that each evening you will enjoy an included three-course evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant. Day 6 Our coach will depart in the morning and proceed across the border to the Rhineland area of Germany, and to our overnight hotel. Here you will once again be accommodated for one night on a bed and breakfast basis. Day 7 After breakfast this morning, we travel onwards to Calais for the 5.45pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival we will proceed to our original departure point. * Depending on where in the UK your departure and return point is, some pick ups may depart late evening on the night before departure and return in the early hours of the morning on the day after your return date.
