 Easter in the Black Forest itineraryDay one Your holiday begins with selected coach pick-ups and journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 6.45am ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais, continuing to your hotel in Germany for a four-night stay. Alternatively, we offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. Day two After breakfast, join our optional excursion to the French city of Strasbourg. Don’t miss Petite France, with its beautiful old timbered houses and canals. Next, we’ll continue along the Alsace Wine Route, stopping at one of the picturesque wine villages, such as Ribeauville or Riquewihr Day three (Easter Sunday) This morning, our included excursion takes us to Feldberg, Titisee, where you’ll visit a traditional cuckoo clock shop, and Triberg, home to an absolutely enchanting waterfall. Day four (Easter Monday) After breakfast, join the excellent optional excursion to the town of Freiburg for time at leisure. From here we will journey along the River Rhine to Breisach, an old Celtic town that’s a joy to behold. Day five After breakfast this morning, rejoin the coach for the journey to Calais and the 8.15pm Channel crossing, returning to your original departure point. In order to offer a full itinerary your pick-up times may be very early in the morning or the previous evening; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions. Days may operate in a different order due to operational reasons.
