 German Christmas Markets by air itineraryDay one Fly direct to Germany. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. Those who have pre-booked the optional meal package will be served their three-course evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant. Day two After breakfast, enjoy your included excursion to Trier and Bernkastel, where you will have plenty of time at leisure to explore the Christmas markets here. Browse the many decorated wooden booths, where you can discover wonderful Christmas decorations, wooden toys, candles, hand-blown and engraved glassware, ceramics and much more. Make sure you sample the delicious food on offer, such as bratwurst sausages, potato pancakes, sweets and warming drinks such as hot chocolate and glühwein. After dinner, you have the opportunity to join our optional evening party cruise. You can enjoy on-board live entertainment on your vessel which will be gently cruising the beautiful River Rhine, and you can dance the night away. Day three Mighty scenery and a great atmosphere combine on our optional excursion through the Rhine Gorge. We will visit Koblenz; this city is situated on both banks of the Rhine, before heading to one of the most famous Rhine wine villages, Rüdesheim. Day four Transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK. Those flying from Edinburgh will have an extra night at the hotel and the chance to join an optional excursion to Cologne’s Christmas markets.
