New Year in The German Valleys
DAY ONE
Your holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and a journey to Dover/ Folkestone for the 9.00am crossing to Calais. Remember, we offer convenient overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer this option.
After disembarking at Calais, our coach then continues to Germany, where arrival at your hotel will be in the course of the evening. If you have booked our optional evening meal, you will enjoy a three-course meal in the hotel's restaurant.
DAY TWO, NEW YEAR'S EVE
After an included continental breakfast, you are at leisure to relax in the hotel or to explore the local area for yourself. Alternatively, join our full-day optional excursion taking you through the most scenic sections of the romantic Rhine Gorge to Rüdesheim. Here, you’ll visit Siegfried’s Musik Kabinett and have time to stroll down the Drosselgasse. Try the town's specialty; hot coffee flambéed with Asbach brandy, topped with mounds of whipped cream and grated chocolate.
Later today, we will return to the hotel in time to freshen up your included three-course New Year's Eve dinner. No doubt you’ll raise a toast or two to the fantastic time you’re having, while seeing in the New Year.
DAY THREE, NEW YEAR'S DAY
A very happy New Year to you all! After your included breakfast this morning, why not join our optional excursion to Koblenz & Cochem? After a day of sightseeing you will return to the hotel. If you have booked our optional evening meal, you will enjoy again a three-course meal in the hotel's restaurant.
DAY FOUR
Today, the time has come to leave the German Valleys as we bid farewell to our friendly hotel. Our coach will depart after breakfast and continue through Germany and Belgium to Calais to join the 5.45pm Channel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival, we will return you to your original departure point.
