It is a country of priceless treasures, incredible architecture, exotic dress, aromatic food and colourful traditions, but also one with a strong colonial past, where cricket is the national game and the legacy of the Raj holds strong.
Join us on this classic fully escorted tour as we show you the very best of northern India’s Golden Triangle. You’ll discover the imperial cities of New and Old Delhi, as well as the pink city of Jaipur, before admiring the exquisite Taj Mahal at sunset. Other highlights include an elephant ride to the Amber Fort and the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri.

Itinerary
Day 1: Check in for your flight and then relax with your fellow travellers in the Executive Lounge. Overnight flight to Delhi.
Day 2: Morning arrival in Delhi. Meet your Just Friends tour leader/guide and transfer for hotel where a welcome drink is served. Spend the afternoon on a guided sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayan’s Tomb and government buildings. Stop at Raj Ghat before returning to the hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel this evening.
Day 3: Travel by coach to Agra, stopping en route at Sikandra. This afternoon you will visit the Agra Fort and see the mesmerising Taj Mahal at sunset, a highlight of any visit. Special Mughali dinner with magic show this evening.
Day 4: Drive to Jaipur with a stop at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, ancient capital of the Moghul empire, to see the complex of monuments and temples and the enormous Jama Masjid. Dinner and folklore show.

Day 5: Enjoy a ride to the incredible Amber Fort by elephant (or jeep!) and learn more about this fascinating former Rajput capital. After lunch visit the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, carved from pink sandstone before seeing the City Palace and Observatory. This evening you will attend a special Rajasthani gala dinner at the Raj Palace Hotel, complete with fireworks.
Day 6: Today you spend the day driving back to Delhi, visiting the ancient Rajasthani Palace at Neemrana, now a hotel, for lunch. Farewell dinner this evening at the hotel.
Day 7: Morning free before transferring to the airport for your flight back to the UK, arriving later the same day.
