Beatrix Potter Country
DAY ONE Begin your break by transferring to the fantastic World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, also visited by Hollywood actress, Renée Zellweger. Later, enjoy free time at Bowness-on-Windermere to relax and soak up the atmosphere the area offers. Perhaps take a leisurely stroll into the nearby town of Windermere and browse its shops and streets, before heading to your hotel at the end of the day.
DAY TWO Start your day with a hearty full English breakfast, then head to Loughrigg Tarn, located in the truly beautiful Lake District. The backdrop of blue water below trees and gently rolling green hills is spectacular. You will then be transferred to Loughrigg Tarn and enjoy free time to explore this natural filmset, as used in ‘Miss Potter’. For a fitting end to this wonderful break, visit Coniston & Tarn Hows and see its landscape of meadow land and woodland before joining your return transfer home.
Given the short duration of this tour and in order to offer a full itinerary, your pick-up times may be very early in the morning; likewise your return drop offs will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions.
