Bergen & the Norwegian Fjords
DAY 1:
Fly direct to Bergen and transfer to our hotel in Leikanger for three nights. En route we will pass through Voss and Vikefjell Pass, before taking the ferry across the Sognefjord to Leikanger.
DAY 2:
Join our optional full day Glaciers & the Sognefjord excursion.
DAY 3:
No visit to Norway would be complete without taking our popular Norway in a Nutshell Tour.
DAYS 4:
Travel back to Bergen via the shores of the beautiful Hardangerfjord for time at leisure. Be sure to explore the old wharf area, which presents an example of medieval architecture unsurpassed elsewhere in Scandinavia.
Later this afternoon, we will transfer to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
3* LEIKANGER FJORD HOTEL, LEIKANGER
This comfortable, family-run hotel is delightfully situated on the shores of the magnificent Sognefjord and has been enjoyed by Travelscope guests for many years. Facilities at this welcoming hotel include a pleasant restaurant offering a selection of menus, as well as a unique log timbered bar.
All rooms have en suite facilities, satellite TV, radio and telephone, with many offering lovely views over the crystal clear waters of the Sognefjord.
