Brussels & Bruges Buy One Get One Free
DAY ONE
Our holiday begins with an early morning coach pick-up and journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 9.30am ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. We also offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer this option. From Calais we continue to Bruges for a short visit, or you might like to enjoy a taste of Dutch life with our optional excursion to Sluis. Admire the 14th Century Flemish architecture and enjoy great shopping opportunities. Later this afternoon, we rejoin the coach and continue our journey to Brussels. Arrival at our hotel in the very heart of this historic city will be at around 6.00pm. You’ll then have the rest of the evening to explore Brussels at your leisure.
DAY TWO
After breakfast this morning, you will have the day to enjoy the many attractions of Brussels. Admire the famous Grand Place, explore the charming cobbled streets, sample wonderful Belgian cuisine, relax with a drink at a friendly bar or explore the many fine museums in the city. Be sure to take advantage of our excellent optional half-day excursion and explore the fascinating social history and culture of Brussels, by foot and coach. From Brussels, the coach continues to the beautiful city of Bruges - 'The Venice of the North', famous for its picturesque canals and 12th/13th century square with quaint street-side cafes and 275ft belfry. There will be time in Bruges for you to have lunch in one of the many cafés and restaurants (not included). Later this afternoon, we will travel to Calais in time for the 8.30pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. From here our coach will return you to your original point of departure.
Given the short duration of this tour and in order to offer a full itinerary your pick up times may be very early in the morning; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Crossing details stated are correct at time of publishing but may be subject to change. Final timings will be confirmed with your joining instructions.
