Chatsworth House, Bakewell & The Potteries

DAY ONE
Your holiday begins with your coach pick-up and a journey to The Denby Visitor Centre, just north of Derby. Here, you’ll find the world-famous pottery in many traditional and contemporary forms. The exceptional quality of the ‘seconds’ along with a hefty discount, is just one of the great shopping opportunities at the Visitor Centre. Later this afternoon rejoin the coach for the journey to your hotel, the Britannia North Stafford in Stoke-on-Trent. This evening you’ll enjoy an included three-course evening meal in the hotel restaurant.

DAY TWO
After your included full English breakfast this morning, join the coach as we travel to Chatsworth House for some first-class sightseeing. As well as fascinating rooms, a wonderful private art collection and ornate furnishings, there’s a 105-acre garden filled with many delightful surprises. After ample time to explore Chatsworth House, rejoin the coach for the journey to Bakewell. The town is famous for its 13th century church, the medieval museum and several other important historical buildings. However Bakewell is best known for its famous Bakewell Pudding, and you can’t miss the opportunity to savour this delicious local speciality in the town of its origin. After time to explore this charming town rejoin the coach for the journey to your original pick-up point.

Given the short duration of this tour and in order to offer a full itinerary your pick up times may be very early in the morning; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions.
