First to Durnstein, famous for its castle where Richard the Lionheart was captured and held prisoner on his return from the Crusades. Then it's on to Melk, the setting for a beautiful Benedictine Abbey perched on a rocky bluff overlooking the Danube. You will have some free time to visit the Abbey (entrance included). Inside you'll find many treasures including the Emperors' Gallery, the dominating Marble Hall and the Abbey Church. The town of Melk itself has many beautiful buildings with lovely facades.
