Your Itinerary
Edinburgh Tattoo & Former Royal Yacht Britannia
Day One:
Your journey begins with selected coach pick-ups for the journey to Scotland. On arrival at your hotel you will have the evening to spend at leisure.
Day Two:
After a full Scottish breakfast this morning, you join the coach for the journey to the port of Leith, home of the former Royal Yacht Britannia. You will then rejoin the coach for the transfer to Edinburgh, where there will be free time to explore the city at your leisure. Whilst in Edinburgh you may wish to take advantage of our optional ‘Edinburgh Walking Tour’ to see the very best of the sights that this beautiful city has to offer. You will then rejoin the members of your group for the short walk* to Edinburgh Castle in time for the 9.00pm performance of the Edinburgh Tattoo. Following an evening of spectacular non-stop entertainment we depart Edinburgh for the return journey to your hotel.
Day Three:
Depart after breakfast for the return journey to your original pick-up point.
*Please note that coaches are not permitted on the Royal Mile on the approach to the castle. This stretch of road is very steep and therefore comfortable walking shoes are recommended. On some occasions additional traffic restrictions may apply.
