Lake Windermere & the Yorkshire Dales
Day One
Your holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and the journey to Wensleydale, Hawes and Skipton, the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, where you will enjoy time at leisure. Later this afternoon rejoin the coach for the transfer to your hotel where you will have the evening at leisure. Perhaps enjoy an evening meal in the hotel’s restaurant or relax in the bar with a drink.
Day Two
After a full English breakfast you will join the coach for the visit to Bowness-on-Windermere, where you can experience some of the finest views in the Lake District. From here, you can join an optional Lake Windermere Cruise and Coniston Water excursion to enjoy spectacular views of one of the biggest, and perhaps most beautiful, natural lakes in England. This afternoon you will rejoin the coach for the transfer back to the hotel where you will have the evening at leisure. Perhaps head into Lancaster where you can sample some of the local food and drink in one of the many restaurants, bars and cafés.
Day Three
After breakfast, join our optional Morecambe and Lancashire Hot Pot excursion and visit one of the most beautiful holiday resorts in the west. Alternatively you may wish to enjoy time at leisure in Lancaster. Later this afternoon rejoin the coach for the journey back to your original point of departure.
