Palm Springs Explorer and Historic Riverside
Head into the desert to visit Palm Springs, the popular retreat playground of the rich and famous, whose previous residents have included Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Liberace and Elizabeth Taylor. Take a spectacular ride on the aerial tramway to the 8516 feet elevation of Mt. San Jacinto State Park for breathtaking views. Following lunch (not included) we return via the town of Riverside, rich in history and architecture and home to the famous Mission Inn. Here there will be time for sightseeing or to take advantage of the many shopping opportunities in this attractive town.
