Rhineland New Year Sailing from Hull
Day One Our holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and a journey to Hull for the overnight ferry crossing to Rotterdam/Zeebrugge with P&O North Sea Ferries. Take advantage of the excellent on board facilities and perhaps enjoy a buffet dinner, before retiring to your comfortable cabin for a good night’s rest.
Day Two This morning, after disembarkation, join the coach for the journey to Germany, where arrival at your hotel will be in the course of the evening. After time to unpack and freshen up, you will enjoy an included three-course meal in the hotel’s restaurant.
Day Three - New Year’s Eve Following breakfast, join our optional excursion to Rüdesheim and the Rhine Gorge. Here, you’ll have free time to explore this famous Rhine wine village before enjoying the musical delights of Siegfried’s Musik Kabinett and the Drosselgasse, a pretty alley full of wine bars and cafés, well worth exploring. You will also have the opportunity to sample some of the region’s most famous produce with some wine tasting. After your included evening meal at the hotel, you will rejoin the coach for the journey to our river cruise vessel. Your New Year Party Cruise begins as you step on-board with live music and a well-stocked bar, allowing you to welcome 2008 in style.
Day Four - New Year’s Day After breakfast, join our included excursion to the fascinating medieval town of Koblenz and the delightful township of Cochem, allowing you to experience some of the most beautiful scenery along the Moselle River. Arrival back at the hotel will be in time for your included three-course evening meal.
Day Five After breakfast, board the coach for the return journey to port and the return overnight ferry crossing to Hull.
Day Six This morning, after disembarkation in Hull, rejoin the coach for the journey back to your original point of departure.
