An Excursion to the pretty little Dutch town of Sluis. This small medieval town remains surrounded in part, by fortifying walls and is well known for its Flemish 14th century architecture, excellent specialist shopping and weekly markets. Wander through Sluis’s cobbled streets, criss-crossed by picturesque canals, as you browse the shops and stalls, perhaps enjoying a refreshment at one of the many friendly pavement cafés. At Sluis you’ll also have the opportunity to visit a typical working windmill, stock up on cigars and meet a clogmaker in his workshop.
