Vancouver, Banff & the Rockies
Day 1 Make your own way to the airport for the flight to Calgary. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Banff for two nights.
Day 2 Today you are at leisure to enjoy the delights of Banff, known as “Canada’s Pride”. Enhance you day by joining our optional excursions, this morning we offer a sightseeing tour including a cable car ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain, whilst this afternoon you can take a helicopter ride over the Rockies.
Day 3 This morning we head for Lake Louise, travelling along the Icefields Parkway, rated to be the most majestic scenery in the Rockies. You’ll enjoy a magnificent drive with panoramic views of waterfalls, glaciers, snowfields and stunning mountains. After a stop at beautiful Lake Louise, we’ll arrive at our hotel in Jasper for a one-night stay.
Day 4 We leave Jasper today and our coach will take us through dramatic mountain scenery to Sun Peaks Resort for a one-night stay
Day 5 Leave Sun Peaks and continue to Vancouver, passing a wonderful array of stunning scenery. On arrival in Vancouver, we’ll check into our hotel for three nights.
Day 6 A day at leisure to explore Vancouver. Cosmopolitan and sophisticated, yet friendly and fun, Vancouver has everything you could wish for: famous sights, great shopping, excellent food and friendly people. Alternatively, you might like to join our optional full-day Vancouver city & north shore tour, taking in the Capilano Suspension Bridge & Grouse Mountain.
Day 7 Today perhaps take advantage of our optional full-day tour to Vancouver Island, which includes a visit to Butchart Gardens.
Day 8 This morning we transfer to the airport for the overnight flight to the UK.
Day 9 Arrival in the UK.
Please note Heathrow: the itinerary operates in reverse on all departure dates.
Manchester: on some departures, the itinerary operates in reverse. Departures in May and June benefit from an extra night spent in Jasper.
Glasgow: all departures benefit from an extra night spent in Jasper.
Cardiff/Belfast: all departures operate to and from Vancouver. The tour benefits from an extra night spent in Kelowna, midway between Banff and Vancouver.
