Just a short distance from Amsterdam, the hotel is situated beside the glittering Ijsselmeer in Monnickendam, a fishing village established by monks in the 12th century, and complete with an Old Town featuring narrow canals, bridges, streets and alleys. Featuring a bar and buffet-style restaurant, the hotel is renowned for its traditional Dutch hospitality. All rooms are basic and comfortable and come with en suite facilities, TV, telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities, and all have wonderful views over the lake or the yacht-filled marina. On dates when this hotel is unavailable, or extra capacity is necessary due to popular demand, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative hotel of a similar standard.
