Holland party break itinerary

Day one Your holiday begins with a selected early morning coach pick-up and a journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 9.00am ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. After disembarkation, the coach will continue to your hotel in Holland where you’ll enjoy two nights’ half-board hotel accommodation. Tonight take advantage of the bar serving free beer, wine and soft drinks from 8.30pm to midnight.

Day two This morning, after breakfast, join our included transfer into Amsterdam, its quaint, cobbled streets, steeply gabled merchants' houses, elegant canals, famous museums, galleries and excellent shopping opportunities just waiting to be sampled. An optional Dutch capital tour by canal boat, coach and on foot, reveals even more of Amsterdam’s irresistible beauty. In the afternoon rejoin the coach for the journey to the pretty old fishing village of Volendam, a golden age gem on the glimmering Zuider Zee with its picturesque harbour and quaint streets filled with brightly painted wooden houses. Volendam’s one of those rare places where time seems to stand still, especially true if you see one of the locals in traditional dress, the woman wearing high, pointed bonnets. While in Volendam, you’ll be taken to see traditional makers of cheese and clogs, miniature versions of the latter making excellent gifts. Upon arrival back at the hotel, enjoy your three-course evening meal, followed by the much-anticipated party night, where the bar will be in full swing serving free beer, wine and soft drinks from 8.30pm to midnight.

Day three After breakfast this morning, join the coach for the journey home, stopping for an en route visit to Bruges, a stunning Unesco World Heritage site with canals to rival those of Venice for sheer beauty. We will then continue to Calais for the 6.30pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone and the journey back to your original point of departure.

Depending on where in the UK your departure and return point is, some pick ups may depart late evening on the night before departure and return early hours of the morning on the day after your return date. Crossing details stated are correct at time of publishing but may be subject to change.
