This excursion also includes a visit to the Olympic city and Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck, famed for its perfectly preserved Old Town. Innsbruck is located on the southern slopes of the Alps and has a rich history, reflected by fine architecture such as the Helblinghaus; a delightful house with a Rococo facing, and St James’s Cathedral. Walk down the Maria-Theresien-Strasse and take in the inspiring view of the Karwendel mountain range, whose rocky crown rises high above the town.
