Innsbruck & Vipiteno

Join us for a journey through the stunning Austrian Tyrol to the Olympic city and regional capital of Innsbruck. Enjoy time to discover the many shops that line winding cobbled passageways, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows. There will be time too to discover the city’s rich history, reflected in the fine buildings of the perfectly preserved Old Town, the celebrated 'Little Golden Roof' – the roof of a tiny Gothic building which has been covered in golden tiles – and St. James’ Cathedral.

This excursion also includes a stop at the medieval Italian town of Vipiteno, close to the magnificent Brenner Pass, for duty-free shopping. This little town is home to some charming architecture including the late-gothic Town Hall and the main street which is lined with 15-16th Century Tyrolean houses with arcades and oriel windows. Numerous windows and shop fronts have maintained their old features, and there is a vast assortment and display of goods to tempt you. During your time here you might like to treat yourself to some Italian souvenirs, international fashions or savour those delicious Italian delicacies.
