DAY ONE
Our holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and a journey to Newcastle for the 6.00pm overnight ferry crossing to Amsterdam with DFDS Seaways. Take advantage of the excellent on board facilities and perhaps enjoy a buffet dinner, before retiring to your comfortable cabin for a good night’s rest.
DAY TWO
After disembarkation this morning, the coach will continue to Holland, stopping en route in Volendam. Upon arrival at your 4* hotel, you will have time to freshen up before joining our coach for the transfer to Amsterdam. Here you can enjoy time to explore or take the chance to join our included Sparkling City Cruise including cheese and wine. You will return to the hotel later this evening.
DAY THREE, New Year’s Eve
Following breakfast, join the coach for the mid-morning transfer into Amsterdam. Once in Amsterdam you are at leisure to enjoy the sights of Holland’s capital. To view the city at its very best, be sure to join our optional Dazzling Dutch Capital tour. Later today, you might like to join our included excursion to the Sea Palace, a stunning pagoda-style floating restaurant, offering the best that Chinese cuisine can offer. Later this evening, make your way into the heart of Amsterdam for truly spectacular celebrations as you welcome in the New Year in style. Once the party is over, re-join the coach for the transfer back to your hotel. Please note: there is no scheduled return to your hotel during the day.
DAY FOUR, New Year’s Day
Today, after a leisurely buffet breakfast, we must reluctantly bid farewell to our hosts and begin the journey to port for the return 6.00pm overnight ferry crossing to Newcastle.
DAY FIVE
This morning, after disembarkation in Newcastle, rejoin the coach for the journey back to your original point of departure.
