Included Excursion

Included in the holiday price is a visit to the awe-inspiring markets of Nuremberg. Take time to explore the Christchild’s Market on the main market square or stroll through the streets and lanes of the Old City where you’ll find such places as the Craftsmen’s Courtyard or Jacob’s Market. Our excursion also includes a visit to the little gem of Bamberg. Reflecting over 1000 years of architecture, ranging from Romanesque to Gothic and Renaissance to Baroque, there are exquisite mansions, palaces and churches, a perfect setting for a Christmas Market. Try the Rauchbier, a smoked beer first brewed in 1536, and you’ll realise why Bamberg is known as a ‘beer drinker’s Eden’!
