Day One Your holiday begins with selected early morning coach pick-ups and a journey to Dover/Folkestone for the 7.00am ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. Alternatively, we offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. After disembarkation at Calais, our coach continues through France and Belgium, and into Germany. Arrival at your hotel is expected to be during the course of the early evening and after time to unpack and freshen up you are at leisure to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Those who have pre-booked their evening meal will enjoy a three-course meal in the hotel’s restaurant.
Day Two After breakfast, you will enjoy an included visit to Nuremberg’s Christmas markets, where you can experience the festive atmosphere and extraordinary sights and sounds. Shop for special mementos and seasonal goodies, before continuing to the picturesque Christmas market of Bamberg. Admire beautiful architecture, such as the Imperial Cathedral and the Old Royal Palace, and enjoy the festive delights of the markets, churches and museums. We return to the hotel in time to enjoy your evening meal if you have booked the package.
Day Three Today, join our enchanting optional excursion to the medieval town of Rothenburg, home to the extremely popular Christmas Shop, and Dinkelsbühl, renowned for its romantic streets. Your evening meal will be served at the hotel if you have pre-booked the package.
Day Four The time has come to bid farewell to our hosts. Our coach will depart after breakfast and proceed back through spectacular German scenery to Calais, arriving in time for the 7.15pm ferry/Eurotunnel crossing to Dover/Folkestone. Upon arrival, we will return to your original departure point.
