 Paris, champagne & shopping itineraryDay one Your holiday begins with coach pick-ups for the transfer to port. Alternatively, we offer overnight hotel accommodation close to port for those who would prefer. Join your 9.00am ferry crossing, and upon arrival journey to your hotel. Enjoy time to freshen up before continuing into the centre of Paris for time at leisure, before joining our wonderful optional Seine River cruise. Day two After breakfast, join the coach for the included excursion to Reims: the ‘city of Champagne’. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a delightful city tour of this wonderful destination. You’ll stop at the Cathedral of Reims, a masterpiece of Gothic art, dating back to the 13th century. You’ll also have the chance to visit the ‘Cryptoportique’, a site of Roman ruins, and a museum where the German surrender was signed on the 7th May, ending World War II. Following this tour, you have free time to explore Reims, enabling you to relax in a cosy cafe or indulge in the many shopping opportunities on offer. Later today, depart Reims and journey into Paris, stopping en route at the Mumms Champagne House for an included tour and tasting. Discover the world of Mumms and sample the delicious beverage at the conclusion of the tour. On arrival back in Paris, you have the evening at leisure; perhaps take advantage of our optional Paris by night tour, with an included visit up the Montparnasse Tower. Arrival back at your hotel will be in the late evening. Day three Following breakfast this morning, head into Paris for some last-minute sightseeing and shopping before continuing to port for your return crossing. Upon arrival in the UK, transfer to your original pick-up point. In order to offer a full itinerary your pick-up times may be very early in the morning or the previous evening; likewise your return drop off will be late and possibly into the early hours of the next day. Final timings are confirmed with your joining instructions. Crossing times are correct at time of publish, but may be subject to change.
