Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Flight to France. Transfer to your hotel in Gignac for five nights.

Day 2 - Included visit to the hilltop bastide village of Rocamadour and sleepy Souillac overlooking rivers Borrèze and Dordogne.

Day 3 - Optional excursion through the majestic Dordogne Valley to Domme and ancient Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Day 4 - Optional excursion to medieval villages of Brantôme, St-Jean-de-Côle and Dordogne’s capital, Périgueux. Includes visits to Le Puy St-Front and La Cité.

To the fine cuisine city of Périgueux. Browse the lively morning market, visit the old Roman town of La Cité and marvel at the medieval quarter of Le Puy St-Front. On to Brantôme, the ‘Venice of the Dordogne’ followed by St-Jean-de-Côle where an ancient humpbacked bridge offers stunning views.

The Dordogne Valley
Price - £27

We follow the majestic river Dordogne to the tiny village of Domme, resplendent in gateways of golden stone. We continue to the ancient ochre-hued town of Sarlat-la- Canéda, its Renaissance core lined with luxury shops and cafes.

The Lot Valley
Price £27

Journey through the spectacular Lot Valley, home to castles and waterfalls, to the town of Cahors, famous for the dark, heady wine and the storybook fortified bridge of Pont Valentré. The winding road beside the river Lot takes us to the tiny village of Cajarc with its pretty medieval houses.
