 Treasures of Thailand itineraryDay 1 Fly from your chosen airport to Amsterdam. Here you will join your connecting overnight flight to Bangkok. Day 2 Morning arrival in Bangkok. This afternoon we include a city tour featuring the Temples of the Golden Buddha and the Reclining Buddha. This evening we offer an optional Thai dinner, with traditional Thai dancing. Day 3 This morning, enjoy more of Bangkok or join our optional Klong Tour & Grand Palace excursion, which includes a boat trip along the Chao Phraya River. This evening we offer a unique opportunity to take a Bangkok dinner cruise down the Chao Phraya River, including a traditional Thai meal. Day 4 A day at leisure to explore more of Bangkok. Perhaps visit the stunning Grand Palace with its glittering stupas and beautiful gardens. Alternatively, join our fabulous optional tour up country to the floating market & rose garden. Day 5 Morning departure from Bangkok for Kanchanaburi. You will have the afternoon at leisure, while in the evening, be sure to join our optional night safari adventure and bathe with the elephants. This excursion includes a specially arranged jungle dinner. Day 6 Today join our fascinating history of the River Kwai optional excursion including a long-tail boat ride along the river, lunch at the River Kwai family camp and a visit to Hell Fire Pass. Day 7 Today’s optional excursion will take you to the River Kwai and to the infamous ‘Death Railway’. You will also take a train ride to Nam Tok where we have included lunch. This afternoon we will transfer to Cha-Am for a six-night stay. This evening, join our optional Hua Hin by night excursion and visit the railway station, a famous stopping point for the Thai royal family, followed by dinner at a beachfront restaurant. Days 8–13 These days are at leisure for you to relax and enjoy the idyllic, tropical paradise of Cha-Am, where warm, clear waters lap the shores of white, palm fringed beaches. A number of optional excursions are also available on these days to enhance your time in Cha-Am. Join us to visit Petchaburi Summer Palace, or take advantage of our discover Hua Hin & Cha-Am tour. In the late evening of day 13, transfer to Bangkok airport for the return overnight flight via Amsterdam to the UK. Days 14 Arrival in the UK.
