 Whale watching from Kaikoura (full day)Experience a whale watching adventure. The main attraction is the sperm whale, and there are frequent sightings of other types of whales including orca, minke, humpback and southern right. Please dress warmly. If the whale watching is cancelled due to inclement weather, a half-hour whale watching scenic flight can be taken in its place (also weather permitting). Prior to the flight there is a briefing on the whales and locale. Other optional activities include an audiovisual presentation at the Kaikoura Visitor Information Centre (admission own expense). Lunch is not included.
